History & Company Overview
Formed in 1994, the club was an outgrowth from the various
military flying clubs that previously existed in Hawaii,
most notably the Hickam-Wheeler Aero Club. The club equipage
has grown throughout the years to its present level of six
airplanes and two FAA-approved Flight Training Devices.
Moore Air club airplanes are fully IFR-equipped and expertly
maintained by FAA mechanics. Safety is the company's number one
priority, and has always taken pride in maintaining this
important philosophy. Club membership has flourished
to include 130 pilots.
For those looking for flight training, Moore Air has several instructors and an FAA-Designated Pilot Examiner readily available to meet Flight Review or Instrument Proficiency needs or to seek an additional rating or certificate. Flight and Ground Instruction is available from Student Pilot through Airline Transport Pilot (ATP). Regularly-scheduled ground school classes are available in a professional classroom setting. Moore Air is also Veterans Administration (VA) approved. What place could be better to fly than Hawaii!?
'Round-the-clock aircraft scheduling is available using ScheduleMasterTM via the internet or via 1-800 number. Airplanes are available 24/7 with liberal overnight and cross-country policies. Minimal but efficient checkout requirements get you in the air and on your way in the shortest time possible. We are privileged to be located in the heart of O'ahu at Honolulu International Airport (PHNL), known for the friendly "aloha spirit."
